Dr. Laurin Cooke opened Creature Comfort Mobile Laser & Healing Support  as a way to bring simple, non-invasive, yet powerful healing tools to animals. Her basic philosophy is that health, vitality, and wellness are best obtained through supporting the body's own innate wisdom.

Laser Therapy specifically targets damaged, sluggish cells through a process called photobiomodulation. Non-thermal photons of light are administered to the body for 3-8 minutes, depending on the anatomical location, condition being treated, and weight of the animal. As these photons are absorbed, the targeted cells are stimulated and respond with a higher rate of metabolism. The result is relief from pain, increased circulation, reduced inflammation, and acceleration of the healing process.

Laser Therapy is a non-invasive treament modality that is pain-free, drug-free, and surgery-free. Often the dosage of pharmaceuticals can be reduced over time by following a laser therapy treatment program.

Other supportive tools Dr. Laurin incorporates are nutrition, supplements, PEMF (Assisi Loop), botanical medicine, and homeopathics. She is always learning and adding to her tool chest!

Diagnostics, surgery, and medications are handled by your primary care veterinary team. Dr. Laurin then provides additional healing tools to support your companion's well-being and quality of life.

Success! Message received.
